"Why Cupid for Valentine's Day? Romance should evoke passion and hearts, not a plump little cherub toddler charging at you with a dangerous bow and arrow!"

EXERCISE MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL – INSIDE AND OUT

Regular exercise isn’t just about weight loss—it’s the ultimate beauty secret, delivering a radiant glow no product can match. Here’s how consistent workouts transform you from the inside out:

1. Radiant Skin
Sweating acts like a mini-facial: pores open, releasing trapped dirt and oil. Rinse afterward to keep skin clear and luminous.

2. Less Stress
Exercise melts away tension, the biggest drain on your vitality and mood. Regular movement boosts endorphins, leaving you calmer and your face brighter.

3. Stronger Immunity
Workouts increase white blood cell production and circulation, fighting off bacteria. Aerobic exercise—anything that gets you breathing deeply—is especially powerful.

4. Better Sleep
Physical activity regulates cortisol, helping you fall asleep faster and sleep deeper. More rest = fresher, healthier-looking skin, and eyes.

5. Reduced Visceral Fat
Exercise targets deep belly fat that affects health and appearance, boosting vitality and a slimmer silhouette.

6. Healthier Hair
Improved blood flow nourishes the scalp and follicles, promoting stronger growth and shine.

Move your body, and beauty follows—naturally, powerfully, and from within. Start today!

DID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS ABOUT VALENTINE’S DAY?

Did you know these surprising tidbits about the holiday of love?

* The tradition of exchanging handmade Valentine's greetings likely began in America in the early 1700s, with pre-made cards becoming popular later.

* The oldest known surviving Valentine's message is a poem written in 1415 by Charles, Duke of Orleans, to his wife while imprisoned in the Tower of London after the Battle of Agincourt. It is preserved in the British Library.

* Each year, approximately 145 million Valentine's Day cards are exchanged in the U.S. alone (not counting classroom packs), making it the second-largest card-sending holiday after Christmas.

Love has a rich history—share the romance!

2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

WINTER-PROOF YOUR BODY FOR 2026

Winter’s dry air, cold winds, and indoor heating can wreak havoc on your skin, hair, and lips. Protect yourself with these simple, effective tips to stay smooth and radiant all season long:

Flyaway Hair
Static from cold temperatures and wind builds up negative ions on hair shafts. Switch to a mild shampoo for dry hair and always follow with conditioner to neutralize them. Consult your stylist for the best products suited to your hair type.

Windburned Skin
Prolonged exposure leaves skin raw and chapped. Before heading out, layer on shea butter for deep hydration, then top with sunscreen. Consider monthly luxury shaves or facials—they exfoliate while delivering a hydrating mask to restore moisture.

Chapped Lips
Skip petroleum jelly (it sits on the surface). Opt for shea butter—it absorbs deeply and locks in moisture for softer, healthier lips.

Dry Hands
Wear gloves outdoors and rubber gloves for dishes. Moisturize every time you wash—frequent washing without it leads to cracked knuckles.

Rough Elbows
Elbows lose moisture fast due to thicker skin. Exfoliate twice weekly and apply a rich cream daily for smooth results.

Flaky Face
Avoid alcohol-based products (check labels—they dry skin). Use a gentle cleanser and upgrade to a richer moisturizer.

Stay cozy and glowing this winter!

EASY STEPS TO MASSAGE YOUR DOG

Did you know that massaging your dog offers incredible benefits, like improved circulation, relaxed muscles, reduced anxiety, and stronger bonding? It's a simple way to support your canine companion's health and happiness.

Here’s a gentle, beginner-friendly routine to try at home:

Prepare a comfortable spot with a cushioned mat or blanket. Have your dog lie down relaxed, head facing away from you.

Start at the Head and Neck
Place your hands on each side of the head, thumbs touching. Use curved fingers for soft, circular motions down the neck—keep it very gentle.

Along the Spine
Move to the top of the spine. With one hand on each side of the body, massage in small circles from the shoulders down to the base of the tail.

Tail Base (Optional)
Gently massage where the tail meets the body—if your dog enjoys it (some prefer to skip this area).

Legs and Paws
Knead each leg softly from top to bottom, then lightly massage the paw pads.

Long Strokes
With your dog on one side, run your hands in smooth, soothing strokes from head to tail.

Repeat on the Other Side
Roll your dog over gently and repeat the full routine.

Always watch your dog’s cues—stop if they seem uncomfortable. Regular massages can make a big difference in their well-being!
